After twenty years of pursuing the opportunity, I finally got a chance to work inside the turntable yard and I enjoyed every minute. Everyone was fun to work with, plus they gave me plenty of options and the men were super accommodating. A good chance I will be back to do more photography of train parts and of a wheel assembly being taken apart. This is an ongoing project that I started twenty years ago and can be seen here.
