During the COVID-19 I had a chance to experiment with more dramatic lighting in my portraits. Going back to a technique I used for years on rock & roll icons called edge lighting. I used one profoto B10 flash head with a 10 degree grid. Matthews flags for negative fill and black Duvetyne on the floor to absorb any light leaks. I also used a technique called HSS high speed sync at 1/4000.
